Legal Notice and Terms of Use

1. Educational and technical nature

ComfyLab (comfylab.dev) provides tutorials, technical configurations (workflows) and educational material about the ComfyUI interface and various open-source Artificial Intelligence models. ComfyLab does not host, distribute or run the generation models on its own servers. All published material is purely for educational and technical research purposes.

2. Disclaimer of responsibility for generated content

Open-source AI models (such as Stable Diffusion and its derivatives) are neutral tools that can generate content without built-in restrictions or filters. The user is the sole and exclusive party responsible for any text, image, video or audio generated by applying the workflows downloaded from this platform. ComfyLab does not monitor, endorse or take responsibility for the final content that users choose to generate on their own local hardware.

3. Age restriction

By using the technical resources published on ComfyLab, the user declares to be 18 years of age or older (or the applicable legal age of majority in their jurisdiction). Some unfiltered AI models can generate explicit, violent or otherwise age-inappropriate content.

4. Regulatory compliance

The use of ComfyLab's tutorials and resources is strictly prohibited for:

  • Generating illegal or defamatory content.
  • Creating deepfakes or faceswaps without the explicit consent of the person depicted.
  • Generating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — a criminal offense in every jurisdiction.
  • Any use that violates applicable European or international law.

The user agrees to respect the terms of each model's specific license (e.g. CreativeML Open RAIL-M licenses), which explicitly prohibit using AI to break the law or cause harm to third parties.

5. EU AI Act

ComfyLab operates in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on Artificial Intelligence. The tutorials published here are intended for technical education. Using these models for high-risk applications or uses prohibited by the AI Act is the sole responsibility of the end user.

6. Affiliate links and external resources

Some pages may contain affiliate links, links to marketplaces, external resources or third-party tools. If a user buys, signs up for, or subscribes to a service through those links, ComfyLab may receive compensation at no extra cost to the user. See the affiliate disclosure for details.

7. Intellectual property rights

ComfyLab does not claim any copyright over images, videos or audio generated by users through the provided workflows. Intellectual property over generated material depends on the legislation applicable to works created via generative algorithms.

Text, screenshots and ComfyLab's own materials are protected by copyright. Partial reproduction is permitted with attribution and a link back to the original source.

8. Applicable law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law — in particular Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the EU AI Act, since ComfyLab is operated from Spain regardless of the language of any given edition of the site. Any disputes are subject to the competent courts under applicable law.
